Florida trucking owner pleads guilty to $1M USPS fraud
Khayyam Arif Oglu Farajov, 40, owner of Florida-based Talishco LLC., pleaded guilty on October 9 to wire fraud and money laundering involving $1 million in fraudulent USPS freight payments. Between June 2022 and January 2023, he accepted hundreds of contracts through the USPS Freight Auction program but repeatedly failed to provide transportation services — instead falsifying delivery confirmations to trigger payments. He agreed to pay $993,979 in restitution and faces up to 20 years in prison per count. Authorities seized funds from his personal brokerage accounts after tracing the illicit flow through shell companies.
