BlueGrace acquires Idaho 3PL Truk TMS to expand Pacific Northwest LTL

By Todd Maiden | 2026-08-07

BlueGrace Logistics’ latest acquisition bolsters its presence in the Pacific Northwest.

Managed logistics provider BlueGrace Logistics announced it has acquired Idaho-based 3PL Truk TMS. Truk TMS had been operating as a BlueGrace partner and will now have full access to the company’s technology platform, which leverages data to drive better outcomes.

Strategic integration details

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“Truk TMS has operated as one of our most trusted partners, and this acquisition is simply the natural next step in that relationship,” said Bobby Harris, BlueGrace founder and CEO. “Bringing them fully into the BlueGrace family means their customers get full access to our Managed Logistics platform, our technology, our carrier network, and our scale, without losing the service they’ve always counted on.”

Service scope and geographic focus

Truk TMS is a broker focused on less-than-truckload transportation. It also provides shippers with truckload and supply chain services across North America, with a heavy concentration in the Pacific Northwest.

Tampa, Florida-based BlueGrace serves more than 10,000 customers out of nine offices across the U.S. and Mexico. Its BlueShip platform has over 250,000 carriers, providing LTL, TL, reefer and multimodal transportation services.

Ownership and prior acquisitions

BlueGrace is a portfolio company of private equity firm Warburg Pincus.

It plans to integrate Truk TMS into its legacy operations. Last year, BlueGrace acquired Michigan-based 3PL STB Freight Group and Florida-based broker FreightCenter.

“Becoming part of BlueGrace formally is a proud moment for our whole team,” said Mark Barnes, Truk TMS CEO. “Our customers get the same team and the same service they’ve always counted on, now backed by BlueGrace’s full Managed Logistics platform and the trusted BlueShip technology behind it.”

Industry implications

By acquiring Truk TMS, BlueGrace Logistics integrates a specialized broker focused on LTL transportation into its broader managed logistics platform. This allows BlueGrace to offer a more comprehensive suite of services to a wider customer base.

The acquisition strengthens BlueGrace’s regional footprint in the Pacific Northwest — a key corridor for cross-border trade and domestic distribution. With Truk TMS’s established client relationships and operational expertise in LTL, BlueGrace gains deeamong mid-market shippers requiring flexible, data-driven freight solutions.
