For attendees managing 5,000 order lines a day or more than 10,000 SKUs, OIA demonstrated its Ocado Storage and Retrieval System (OSRS) — described as the fastest, densest cubic storage technology for high-throughput fulfilment in pharmaceutical, healthcare, retail apparel, and third-party logistics sectors. A real-time 12-by-12-by-12 cell grid with six OSRS Robots operated live at the booth, leveraging Ocado’s patented single-cell design to enable high-velocity robot passing. Bots fetch inventory totes and deliver them to pick stations or On-Grid Robotic Pick Arms for order assembly.
