DHL Express Introduces Label-Free E-Commerce Return Service: A New Trend and Convenience Innovation in Logistics Industry

DHL Express Launches Label-Free Return Service

Author: Hazel King
October 14, 2024

DHL Express has introduced a new service that allows customers to return e-commerce items without the need for printed shipping labels.

This label-free service is a digitally optimized process designed to provide convenience to customers while also being environmentally friendly. Customers receive a QR code which they can present at DHL-supported QR code scanning points to drop off their packages, or hand over to DHL couriers for collection.

“Our label-free service aligns with DHL Express’s commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences and promoting positive environmental changes,” explained Michiel Greeven, Executive Vice President of Global Business at DHL Express. “By simplifying the return process, customers can easily and worry-free return their packages. We anticipate this service will support consumers in sectors such as e-retail and fashion, technology, and more.”

“Through our label-free service, we make the returns process simpler for both merchants and electronic consumers while reducing paper waste.”

The service is currently available in over 50 countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa.
