Freight Tech 100 for 2025: Who’s Leading in Freight Innovation?

2025年货运科技100:谁在货运创新领域领跑? – FreightWaves

FreightWaves has released the seventh annual FreightTech 100 list, highlighting the most innovative companies in freight technology. This announcement paves the way for the unveiling of the FreightTech 25 at the upcoming Future of Freight Festival (F3) in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The 2025 FreightTech 100 is not an isolated event. This year, the tech industry has faced renewed criticism from labor and struggled with adverse conditions brought about by constrained monetary policy. Mergers and acquisitions have become a prominent theme: In September, Platform Science and Trimble — two companies that have consistently appeared on the FreightTech 100 list since its inception — announced that the former would acquire Trimble’s global in-cab business.

This transaction is not an anomaly; in August, Korber announced the acquisition of MercuryGate, another company regularly featured on the FreightTech 100. As the industry continues to mature, such acquisitions may become a recurring theme as companies prepare for the next growth cycle.

Prior to this, however, the list represents today’s exemplars of technological advancement in freight transportation.

## Methodology

The FreightTech 100 list is compiled by a panel of journalists, analysts, and experts selected by FreightWaves. The voting form includes over 250 companies, with information sourced from nearly 900 nominations.

The list will be further reviewed by the third-party auditing firm Henderson, Hutcherson and McCullough (HHM). This company will conduct a vote among more than 80 industry executives, investors, and scholars to determine the FreightTech 25.

The FreightTech 25 will be determined through a points-based system where each voter selects the top 25 most innovative and disruptive companies in the industry. The company ranked first by a voter receives 25 points, second place receives 24 points, and so on. The list is then ordered based on total points.

The top 25 scoring companies will be announced at FreightWaves F3: Future of Freight Festival from November 19-24, where you can immediately secure your seat.
