According to authorities, a former UPS employee is accused of stealing dozens of iPhones, AirPods, and other electronics, hiding these goods in a facility in Hollywood.

Brandon Saint Gerard, aged 24, has been charged with grand theft. He is suspected of stealing $67,000 worth of merchandise, concealing it within the facility, and then transporting it to his own vehicle after work hours.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office received a tip from UPS earlier this month pointing to Gerard.

According to the office, officers conducted surveillance and intercepted him as he left the UPS facility in violation of company policy on October 3rd.

“In St. Gerard’s vehicle, detectives found dozens of iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max smartphones, several AirPods, an Apple Watch, and numerous other smartphones and electronics,” said the Sheriff’s Office.

He is suspected of stealing goods over recent months and reportedly confessed to his criminal activities.

UPS stated in a press release: “We have zero tolerance for theft and have terminated this employee. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement’s investigation.”
