According to www.indiasentinels.com, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group (RVAG) has raised $40 million in a new funding round to expand precision manufacturing capacity and accelerate development of mission-critical systems across its global footprint.
Funding Round and Strategic Allocation
The $40 million round was co-led by Norwest and Skegen Asset Management, with participation from Indus Bridge Ventures, GJNX Ventures, and noted investor Ashish Kacholia. Capital will be deployed across three priority areas: scaling manufacturing operations in India, the UK, and the USA; accelerating construction of RVAG’s integrated manufacturing campus at Hardware Park near Hyderabad International Airport; and strengthening its mission systems and autonomous systems businesses — including micro turbojet engines, aircraft hydraulic pumps, missile subsystems, and the ARROBOT platform for unmanned aerial and ground vehicles.
Global Manufacturing Scale and Order Book
Over the past two decades, RVAG has grown into a global manufacturing platform with more than 1,200 employees and over ten facilities across three countries. It supplies precision aero-engine components and sub-assemblies to leading OEMs including GE Aerospace, Collins Aerospace, Honeywell, and Safran, as well as energy sector clients such as Baker Hughes, Halliburton, SLB, and GE. The company currently holds an order book exceeding ₹2,500 crore — approximately $300 million at current exchange rates — underscoring sustained demand for its vertically integrated capabilities.
End-to-End Capabilities and R&D Partnerships
RVAG is among the few Indian companies offering end-to-end aerospace manufacturing under one roof — spanning design, engineering, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, composites, electronics, gears, fasteners, and NADCAP-approved special processes. Its deep-tech portfolio includes proprietary micro turbojet engines and hydraulic systems developed for defence programmes. The company has also established formal collaborations with premier research institutions, including multiple IITs and IIITs, the Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), and defence agencies such as the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
Leadership Vision and Investor Confidence
“This investment is a strong vote of confidence in what our team has built over the last two decades, a fully integrated, home-grown manufacturing platform that global aerospace, defence and energy leaders trust with mission-critical work,” said Vamsi Vikas, Managing Director of Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group. “It allows us to scale capacity across our India, UK and USA operations; accelerate our Hardware Park campus and deepen our investments in Mission Systems and Autonomous Systems.” Siva Arvinth, CEO of RVAG, added: “Our growth has always been guided by the values of our founder, Late Sri G. Thrimurthulu, who built this company on reliability, integrity and empathy toward every stakeholder we serve. This round strengthens our ability to invest in our people, our technology and our talent pipeline as we prepare for the next phase of scale.”
