Minneapolis – Express carrier DHL is suing MyPillow, alleging that its founder and chief spokesperson, election denier Mike Lindell, owes nearly $800,000 in unpaid invoices.
This lawsuit represents the latest legal dispute involving MyPillow and Lindell. Lindell, a prominent supporter of former President Trump, has helped spread [false claims about the 2020 election being stolen].
DHL’s e-commerce division filed the lawsuit on Monday in Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis, alleging that MyPillow breached a contract requiring the Minnesota-based company to pay for all parcel delivery services within 15 days of receiving an invoice. The complaint states they reached a settlement agreement in May 2023, under which MyPillow was to pay $775,000 over 24 months starting from April.
However, the lawsuit claims that MyPillow only partially fulfilled this settlement agreement, paying a total of $64,583.34, with the last payment received on June 6th. DHL stated they notified MyPillow of their breach on July 2nd.

Last year, MyPillow’s cash flow was affected by credit tightening after losing Fox News as one of its main advertising platforms and being delisted by several national retailers.
In February, a judge upheld an order requiring Lindell to pay $5 million to a software engineer who questioned the data Lindell claimed proved Chinese interference in the 2020 election.
