Top Mattel Supply Chain Executive Shares Five Key Lessons on Managing Complexity and Change in the Supply Chain

Roberto Isaias has had a busy few years. As Mattel’s Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, he navigated the complexities brought on by COVID-19 before the Barbie movie became the hottest film of 2023, adding extra pressure to supply chains that required accelerated operations. But for Isaias, it was just another day at work. The executive from Mexico has seen a lot in his career, transitioning through various commercial and supply chain leadership roles at Procter & Gamble over twelve years, and spending twenty-two years at Mattel, where he held positions such as Managing Director and Senior Vice President for Latin America, and Senior Vice President and General Manager for Spain and Latin America.

Isaias was a keynote speaker at last week’s CSCMP EDGE 2024 conference in Nashville. Drawing from his thirty years of experience, he shared insights and distilled his experiences into five key lessons for leading change.
