FreightWaves Launches Daily Live Broadcast June 1

According to FreightWaves, the company is launching FreightWaves Today, a live daily broadcast beginning June 1, 2026, to serve as a central hub for real-time supply chain intelligence and executive dialogue.

Launch Date and Format

The show will air weekdays at 12:00 PM ET and will be streamed across multiple platforms, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and tv.freightwaves.com/today. Full episodes will be available on-demand at the same URL as well as on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other major podcast platforms.

FreightWaves Today is designed to provide a daily signal amid ongoing volatility in freight markets, with a focus on real-time data, policy shifts, and technological disruption. The show aims to fill a longstanding gap in the industry, where executives previously had limited access to centralized, live conversations about supply chain dynamics.

Executive Access and Guest Lineup

The launch week will feature high-profile guests from across the supply chain ecosystem. Shelley Simpson, President and CEO of J.B. Hunt, and Eugene Seroka, Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles, will appear during the first week. Other confirmed guests include Webb Estes (President & COO, Estes Express Lines), Tom Madine (CEO, WWEX Group), Aaron Graft (Founder, Vice Chairman and CEO, Triumph Financial), Geoff Anderman (CEO, STG Logistics), Michael Caney (CCO, Highway), and Sushanth Raman (CEO, Pallet).

These guests represent major players in trucking, logistics, freight finance, 3PL operations, and emerging technology platforms. The show will cover topics such as tariff impacts, capacity shifts, technology adoption, and infrastructure policy, all discussed by the individuals directly responsible for supply chain operations.

Hosts and Production Team

The program is hosted by Craig Fuller, Founder and CEO of FreightWaves, and Julie Van De Kamp, CMO and COO of SONAR. Daily contributions will come from freight market experts Zach Strickland and Malcolm Harris. The show leverages SONAR’s real-time data to deliver insights grounded in current market conditions.

According to the source, FreightWaves Today is not intended to be a recap of past events but a live, data-driven conversation with industry leaders. The format is modeled after Wall Street’s morning television programs, offering a “Squawk Box” for logistics and supply chain professionals.

Industry Context and Strategic Significance

Historically, supply chain intelligence has been fragmented across trade publications, podcasts, and social media commentary. There has been no consistent, authoritative platform for daily executive discussion. The launch of FreightWaves Today represents a shift toward centralized, real-time decision-making tools for logistics leaders.

Similar initiatives in adjacent sectors, such as Reuters’ global market coverage and Bloomberg’s live financial programming, have long served as trusted daily sources. FreightWaves is now bringing that same model to the supply chain domain, targeting a growing demand for transparency and real-time insight. The show will also include special on-site editions at select industry events through the end of 2026.

Industry professionals note that the program could help streamline decision-making during periods of high market uncertainty, such as those driven by changing trade policies or infrastructure disruptions. With the U.S. transportation sector facing ongoing challenges in workforce availability and regulatory compliance, timely access to executive insight is increasingly valuable.

FreightWaves plans to continue expanding the show’s reach, with future episodes expected to include sessions from major logistics events like the F3: Future of Freight Festival, scheduled for October 2026 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
