Romark Logistics Boosts Inventory Accuracy by 40% with Dexory Platform

By David Edwards, Robotics & Automation News

Real-Time Inventory Visibility Deployed at Hazleton Facility

According to roboticsandautomationnews.com, Romark Logistics has implemented Dexory’s AI-powered warehouse visibility platform, DexoryView, at its Hazleton site to achieve real-time inventory tracking. The deployment marks a critical advancement in the company’s inventory management strategy, aiming to improve accuracy without disrupting operational throughput. The system leverages autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) equipped with AI and digital twin technology to conduct continuous, non-intrusive inventory checks.

Operational Efficiency Gains Through Automated Intelligence

The integration of DexoryView enables Romark Logistics to conduct cycle counts within a single shift window, reducing reliance on manual labor. Inventory accuracy has improved by 40% at the Hazleton facility since deployment, according to internal performance data cited in the report. The platform’s digital twin technology provides continuously updated, real-time insights into inventory levels across the warehouse. This allows warehouse managers to make faster, data-driven decisions without waiting for periodic physical counts.

Unlike traditional cycle counting methods that require pausing operations, DexoryView robots perform inventory validations during shift transitions. They complete multiple aisles per day without interrupting automated guided vehicle (AGV) movements or removing equipment from active workflows. This capability supports uninterrupted throughput, a critical factor for Romark’s high-volume confectionery product handling operations.

“Dexory enables us to validate inventory quickly without disrupting our automated operations. We can complete cycle counts more efficiently within our existing shift structure, allowing our team to focus on resolving discrepancies and improving overall inventory accuracy.”

— Kevin Gamber, Associate Director of Automation, Romark Logistics

Strategic Expansion and Long-Term Technology Integration

According to the report, Romark Logistics selected Dexory as a “natural next step” in its technology-driven logistics strategy. The company has previously implemented automated systems and is now scaling real-time visibility across its network. The partnership includes a structured roadmap for expanding DexoryView to additional facilities, with ongoing collaboration aimed at optimizing warehouse operations.

Oana Jinga, co-founder and chief commercial and product officer at Dexory, emphasized the growing demand for resilient logistics systems. She stated that logistics providers are increasingly adopting technology to build adaptable operations. The deployment at Romark enables faster integration of real-time cycle count data into daily workflows, supporting continuous improvement.
