Atlanta, September 10, 2024 - UPS (NYSE: UPS) today announced that it has agreed to acquire Frigo-Trans and its sister company BPL (collectively referred to as "Frigo-Trans"), leading providers of complex medical logistics based in Germany. Upon completion of the acquisition, UPS will enhance its end-to-end capabilities across Europe to meet the growing demand for temperature-controlled and time-sensitive logistics from an increasing number of UPS Healthcare clients. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025 following customary regulatory reviews and approvals. The value and terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
