# Yaskawa Electric and Fizyr Collaborate in Europe to Advance Robotic Automation
## Partnership Integrates Robotics with Vision Solutions for Picking Applications
Robotics company Yaskawa has announced a collaboration with Fizyr in Europe. Fizyr provides vision and artificial intelligence (AI) software platforms for intelligent picking applications, targeting the European market. The two companies have defined a non-exclusive promotional strategy for the European market aimed at promoting the implementation of robotic automation relying on AI-based computer vision.
The target market for this collaboration is the warehouse logistics sector, encompassing high-speed goods picking, automated parcel sorting, palletizing, depalletizing, and unloading trailers with objects of various sizes and shapes. The partners explain that this is an area where AI vision is critical to the success of robotic automation.
“We look forward to expanding our cooperation with Fizyr to help our system integrators seamlessly integrate robot systems,” commented Pär Tornemo, Senior Vice President of YASKAWA Europe Robotics Division and Managing Director of YASKAWA Nordic AB.
For warehouse system integrators, the partnership simplifies the process of implementing robots equipped with computer vision, as partners will have access to robots fitted with integrated vision suites, thereby streamlining deployment.
“Enabling systems and robot integrators to scale their solutions is key to market adoption. By simplifying this process through our collaboration with Yaskawa, we enable integrators to bring their ‘best-of-breed’ solutions to the market faster,” said Ken Fleming, CEO of Fizyr.
