According to thuonghieucongluan.com.vn, the 4th Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (VILOG 2026) will convene 450 enterprises from 22 countries and territories across 550 exhibition booths at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City from 30 July to 1 August 2026.
Global platform for intelligent and green supply chains
Organized jointly by the Vietnam Logistics Services Business Association (VLA) and VINEXAD under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and with support from the General Department of Vietnam Customs’ Import-Export Authority, VILOG 2026 adopts the theme “Building Intelligence and Sustainability.” The event aims to accelerate digital transformation, advance green logistics practices, and strengthen Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global logistics sector — aligning with the national Vietnam Logistics Services Development Strategy 2025–2035, with vision to 2050.
Participating associations include the World Cargo Alliance (WCA), Japan-based JCtrans, the World International Freight Forwarders Association (WIFFA), China’s China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA), Thailand’s Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCA), Global Logistics Alliance (GLA), Hanoi Logistics Association (HNLA), and Vietnam Logistics Management Association (VALOMA). Among the exhibiting companies are Gemadept, ITL Group, Transimex, Bee Logistics, Vinafco, U&I Logistics, Long An International Port, Konoike Vinatrans Logistics, Nissin-Sinotrans International Logistics, and FESCO.
Smart logistics technologies take center stage
The exhibition features dedicated zones showcasing next-generation logistics technologies, including warehouse robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), artificial intelligence (AI)-driven warehouse management systems, electric material-handling equipment, and advanced multimodal transport solutions. These innovations are positioned as critical enablers for productivity gains, cost optimization, and enhanced supply chain resilience.
Complementing the exhibition floor, VILOG 2026 hosts a series of specialized forums and workshops covering digital trade, green logistics, air cargo operations, agricultural export logistics linkages, and technology applications in supply chain governance. A highlight is the inaugural ASEAN–Vietnam Logistics Forum 2026, themed “Digital Trade and Electronic Bills of Lading: Building Digital Trust for Global Supply Chains,” bringing together international experts, corporate leaders, and regulatory bodies to examine emerging standards and interoperability challenges.
On-site learning and integrated ecosystem
The VILOG Insight Tour program offers practical, hands-on exposure to modern logistics infrastructure, with guided visits to AJ Total Vietnam’s cold storage facility and Tân Cảng Hiệp Phước Port. These site tours provide attendees with real-world benchmarks for operational excellence in temperature-controlled logistics and deep-sea port automation.
VILOG 2026 runs concurrently with two complementary exhibitions: the Vietnam International Cold Chain Exhibition (Viet Cold Chain) and the Vietnam International Robot & Smart Factory Exhibition (ROBOTEX 2026). Collectively, the three events are projected to attract more than 25,000 visitor entries, reinforcing their role as Vietnam’s premier integrated platform connecting enterprises, technologies, and markets across the end-to-end logistics value chain.
The broader context underscores growing urgency: Vietnam’s export-import turnover rose sharply in the first half of 2026, driving expanded demand for logistics services in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Meanwhile, ports such as Hai Phong have declared AI integration “a strategic imperative” — citing a scientific forum held on 19 June 2026 that identified AI deployment as the key lever for enhancing port competitiveness and shaping the city’s maritime economy.
