Vietnam Airlines has appointed ECS Group as its cargo general sales and service agent (GSSA) in the US.
Strategic Transpacific Expansion
Reportedly, the new agreement will combine Vietnam Airlines Cargo’s expanding transpacific network and ECS Group’s US commercial expertise.
The partnership is designed to accelerate cargo growth between Vietnam and North America and optimise revenues across evolving supply chains.
Under the agreement, ECS Group will manage Vietnam Airlines’ online flights at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), while also developing strategic interline solutions to connect the US with key Asian gateways, particularly in Korea, providing customers with flexible and competitive transport options into and beyond Asia.
