7X scales UAE supply chain platform with 30 partners

According to www.logisticsmiddleeast.com, Dubai-based logistics technology firm 7X has expanded its UAE supply chain platform by onboarding 30 new strategic partners, strengthening its operational footprint across Abu Dhabi and Dubai — the two designated national logistics hubs under the UAE’s National Logistics Strategy 2030.

Platform Expansion Across Dual Hubs

The expansion directly supports the UAE’s goal to rank among the top 10 global logistics centers by 2030, a target outlined in the federal strategy launched in 2022. 7X’s platform now integrates services across seven core verticals: customs clearance, last-mile delivery, warehousing, cross-border freight forwarding, cold chain logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, and real-time cargo tracking. All 30 partners are certified by the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and registered with the UAE Ministry of Economy’s e-Commerce Regulatory Framework — a requirement for digital logistics service providers operating in the country since January 2023.

Partner Profile and Geographic Coverage

Of the 30 partners, 18 are headquartered in Dubai, 9 in Abu Dhabi, and 3 operate across both emirates. The cohort includes four licensed customs brokers, seven licensed transport operators, six certified cold chain providers, and 13 integrated logistics service providers — all compliant with UAE’s Emirates Integrated Customs System (EICS) v3.2 interface standards. According to the report, the platform’s average order-to-delivery cycle time decreased from 42 hours to 28 hours following the integration of the first 15 partners in Q1 2024.

Technology Infrastructure and Integration

7X’s platform operates on a modular API architecture certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and connects directly with the UAE’s Customs Automated System (CAS), the Abu Dhabi Ports Digital Platform, and Dubai’s Dubai Trade Portal. It also supports real-time data exchange with the UAE’s National Address System (NAS), enabling precise geofenced delivery scheduling. The system processes over 12,500 shipment records daily, with end-to-end visibility for shippers, carriers, and customs authorities — a capability mandated under UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 26 of 2021 on digital logistics interoperability.

Industry Context and Peer Benchmarking

This move follows similar platform expansions by regional peers: DHL launched its DHL Supply Chain Connect UAE initiative in March 2024 with 22 local partners, while Aramex integrated 17 UAE-based SME logistics providers into its Aramex Business Hub in Q2 2024. Unlike those models, 7X’s platform requires all partners to maintain minimum service-level agreements (SLAs), including 99.2% on-time delivery compliance and under 1.8% cargo loss rate — metrics verified monthly via third-party audit reports submitted to the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
