Samsung SDS Showcases Cello Square Digital Logistics Platform at Manifest 2026: AI-Powered End-to-End Supply Chain Visibility

Manifest 2026: A Barometer for Global Logistics Technology

From February 9 to 11, 2026, the global logistics innovation conference Manifest 2026 took place in Las Vegas. As one of the most influential annual events in supply chain and logistics technology, this year’s Manifest attracted approximately 7,200 participants, including shippers, logistics solution providers, startups, and investors.

Among the exhibitors, Samsung SDS drew significant attention with its comprehensive digital logistics showcase. As Samsung Group’s IT services and logistics solutions provider, Samsung SDS presented its flagship product — the Cello Square digital logistics service platform — demonstrating its core capabilities in AI-driven supply chain visibility and risk management through keynote presentations and booth interactions.

Cello Square: A One-Stop Digital Logistics Platform

Cello Square is Samsung SDS’s digital logistics service platform built around a core value proposition: unifying the entire international logistics process — from quotation to booking to settlement — on a single digital platform. The platform covers:

  • International ocean and air freight: End-to-end international cargo management including rate comparison, space booking, document management, and cargo tracking
  • Land transportation: Planning, execution, and monitoring of road and rail transport
  • Warehousing and local logistics: Warehouse management, inventory optimization, and last-mile delivery coordination
  • Customs and compliance: Automated import/export customs processes and trade compliance management

What differentiates Cello Square from traditional logistics management systems is its end-to-end digitization philosophy. Shippers no longer need to switch between multiple systems — from quote comparison and booking to shipment tracking, exception handling, and cost settlement, everything happens on one platform.

AI and Machine Learning-Driven Risk Management

During its Manifest 2026 keynote, Samsung SDS highlighted its AI-driven supply chain risk management capabilities. Today’s global supply chains face unprecedented uncertainty — geopolitical risks, climate change, maritime infrastructure constraints, and sailing restrictions are causing severe visibility and transparency gaps for many shippers and forwarders.

To address these challenges, Cello Square provides:

  • Real-time end-to-end monitoring: A data-driven global transport control tower enabling full-chain visibility from factory to final destination
  • AI risk factor prediction: Machine learning algorithms analyzing historical data, weather information, port congestion, and geopolitical events to provide early risk warnings
  • Accurate ETA prediction: AI-model-based estimated time of arrival predictions helping enterprises plan inventory and production more precisely
  • Automated exception handling: Automatic alerts and alternative recommendations when transport deviations or potential delays are detected

Samsung SDS emphasized that these AI capabilities have been validated in real customer scenarios with proven cost-saving effects.

KYOCERA Partnership: Digital Innovation in European Markets

One of the conference highlights was Samsung SDS’s joint presentation with KYOCERA Document Solutions Europe. KYOCERA’s General Manager of Supply Chain Management for Europe, Martijn Cillessen, shared their warehousing and local transport innovation case in Europe.

“Samsung SDS’s IT-driven logistics service has enhanced data transparency and automated the decision-making system, significantly improving logistics efficiency. We will continue business innovation through our partnership with Samsung SDS,” Cillessen stated.

The collaboration demonstrated Samsung SDS’s ability to deliver in European markets through IT-driven integrated logistics services covering the entire process from factory to transport, customs, warehousing, and distribution.

Digital Logistics Platform Industry Trends

Samsung SDS’s presence at Manifest 2026 reflects several important trends in the digital logistics platform space:

From tools to platforms: Logistics companies are no longer satisfied with point digital tools (like standalone TMS or WMS) but are pursuing platform solutions covering the entire process. Cello Square represents this trend — integrating transport management, warehousing, trade compliance, and financial settlement on a unified platform.

AI from add-on to core: AI is no longer a “nice-to-have” feature but a core competitive differentiator. From demand forecasting to route optimization, from risk prediction to automated decision-making, AI capabilities are defining the standard for next-generation logistics platforms.

Global reach with local execution: Successful digital logistics platforms need both global network coverage and localized service capabilities. Samsung SDS’s deep collaboration with local partners like KYOCERA demonstrates its strategy for balancing global scale and local relevance.

Outlook: The Competitive Landscape for SaaS Logistics Platforms

The digital logistics platform market is entering a phase of rapid growth and intense competition. Beyond Samsung SDS, companies like Flexport, project44, and FourKites are also actively building AI-driven supply chain visibility platforms. The competitive focus is shifting from basic visibility features to deeper predictive capabilities, automated decision-making, and ecosystem integration.

Samsung SDS Logistics Business Division EVP Koo-il O emphasized: “Manifest 2026 served as an opportunity to promote Samsung SDS’s digital logistics service capabilities to the global market and to strengthen networks with logistics and supply chain technology leaders.”

As global supply chain complexity continues to increase, the value of digital logistics platforms will become even more pronounced. Platforms that can deeply embed AI capabilities across the entire logistics process while delivering exceptional user experience will emerge as winners in this competitive landscape.
