Blue Dart Express has launched International Parcel Connect, a cross-border B2C parcel service from India to the US, powered by DHL eCommerce and aimed at e-commerce sellers, D2C brands and small businesses. Parcels weighing 50 grams to 11 kg are eligible, covering apparel, auto spare parts, books, handicrafts, imitation jewellery and rugs. Blue Dart cites India's B2C e-commerce export market at around $2 billion. The company plans to extend the service to the UK, EU countries, Canada and Australia.

According to manufacturing.economictimes.indiatimes.com, Blue Dart Express, the Mumbai-based express logistics company, launched a cross-border parcel service on Tuesday for business-to-consumer shipments from India to the US, aimed at e-commerce sellers, direct-to-consumer brands and small businesses chasing overseas customers.

Service positioned between express and postal options

The offering, called International Parcel Connect, is powered by DHL eCommerce and provides standard and expedited delivery options, shipment tracking and customer support within India, according to the company’s statement.

Blue Dart is positioning the product between premium-priced express services and lower-cost postal shipping, giving sellers a middle option on cost and speed. The company said eligible parcels weighing between 50 grams and 11 kg can be shipped under the service.

Accepted categories include apparel and fashion products, automobile spare parts, books, handicrafts, imitation jewellery and rugs, along with other eligible e-commerce goods. Shipments remain subject to applicable customs, regulatory, commodity, weight and dimensional restrictions, the company said.

Targeting a $2 billion export market

India’s B2C e-commerce exports are estimated at around $2 billion, according to Dipanjan Banerjee, chief commercial officer of Blue Dart. He said the service is designed to give sellers greater flexibility in choosing delivery speeds while making cross-border shipping easier to manage.

The launch lands as Indian small businesses and direct-to-consumer brands look for simpler ways to reach US shoppers without building their own international logistics operations. Blue Dart is betting that a managed parcel product, backed by DHL eCommerce’s network, lowers the operational barrier for first-time exporters.

UK, EU, Canada and Australia next

Blue Dart plans to extend International Parcel Connect beyond the US to the UK, European Union countries, Canada and Australia, the company said, without giving a timeline for those launches.

Balfour Manuel, Managing Director of Blue Dart, said the service would combine the company’s domestic operations and customer support with the reach of its international network to help Indian businesses access overseas markets.

The company disclosed the launch on Oct 27, 2026. Blue Dart Express operates as an express logistics provider headquartered in Mumbai, with domestic operations that the new cross-border product is intended to feed into.
