CMA CGM Launches Methanol-Powered Fleet with 400th Vessel

According to Inbound Logistics, CMA CGM took delivery of its 400th owned vessel, the CMA CGM Monte Cristo, on January 29, 2026. This marks the beginning of a six-vessel series of 15,000-TEU methanol-fueled container ships, part of the company’s decarbonization strategy. The vessel entered commercial service on the BEX2 – Phoenician Express route, connecting North Asia with the Levant and Adriatic Sea.

CeV, a global logistics provider, opened a new 250,000-square-foot warehouse in Dubai South Free Zone in January 2026, specifically designed for e-commerce customers. Overhaul introduced SecureBOL, a system that creates a digital copy of a bill of lading linked to a tamper-evident QR code. DHL Supply Chain signed a memorandum of understanding with RLCold, a real estate developer focused on cold storage in the food and beverage sector.
